Hello – and thanks for stopping by the berry patch!
I am blessed to be the mom of 4 girls – my berry patch. Earning the title of Mama took 7 years of struggling with infertility (and weight loss & gain, then depression…), and now somehow it’s been a whirlwind of almost 10 years!
My husband is Turkish and born in the US – and I’m American and was born in Germany. So we are definitely a (confused??) multi-cultural and multilingual family who loves music, adventure & traveling! 🙂 I’ve lived in 8 states, 4 of them for more than 5 years. So where is home now? Home is where the berries are – in the suburbs of northern Virginia.
I am a mom, wife, daughter & sister, a Christian, a reader, a singer, an engineer (a nerd!), and a dreamer – and right now, I dream about staying home with my berries full-time. I’m not super crafty, but I love to cook (and eat!). So I will post recipes, easy crafts and entertaining tips, inspirational thoughts, travel ideas, money-saving hints, and funny stories about what life is like with 4 girls in 3.5 years. So thanks for checking out the berry patch; our door is always open (though sometimes it’s because the girls forgot to close it!) and there’s always room at our table for anyone who stops by.
